After the multi-starrer Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam, director K S Adhiyaman teams up once again with Salman Khan for another family drama interspersed with romance, humor and emotions.
Ayaan (Salman Khan), a young and handsome man from an upper middle class family falls in love with a beautiful model Ahana (Shilpa Shetty) who belongs to a very liberal ultra rich family. With the passage of time the two get married. Both Ayaan and Ahana are looking forward to a happily married blissful and contented life.
But the future has something else in store for the duo. Ahana gradually discovers that there is vast cultural difference between her upbringing and Ayaan's family. Small differences crop up which eventually lead to major confrontation between the two.
Can Ayaan maintain his cool and bring his wife and family under one roof?
The film also stars Reema Lagoo, Shakti Kapoor, Mohnish behl and Asif Sheikh. Sajid-Wajid have composed the music of the film. |

Unpleasant Romance |
Sotaria |
|
There were two major problems with this film that kept me from liking it. First, I did not care for either character. Shilpa's character was a miserable "bi-polar" and selfish person, whereas Salman's character was a keniving and abusive man. This leads to the second part of the story which offended me. It promotes physical abuse against women as a means of discipline. Now I am not politically correct nor a liberal person, but in America Salman would have been arrested! Hitting women is NOT discipline. There are many other ways to discipline a person with love. Violence is NOT justifiable. In short, this was a very unpleasant movie and not very romantic. |

SHAADI KARKE PHAS GAYA YAAR comes across as an outdated and obsolete concept. The film would've worked, perhaps, had it released a couple of years ago. Not today! |
