In one of her last performances before she quit acting at the behest of her second husband, actor Ejaz Durrani, Noor Jehan mesmerized audiences both in India and Pakistan with her acting and her vocal talent.
'Anarkali', shot in Pakistan, also had Qateel Shifai as the lyricist. One particular song, 'Jaltay hain armaan mera dil rota hai', picturized on Noor Jehan, still lives on in peoples memories to this day. |
