Raghav Shastri (Nana Patekar) a caustic taxi driver and Jai Mittal (John Abraham) the decadent scion of a wealthy business family, are two Mumbaiites who inhabit very different world.Their paths cross one day when Jai steps into Raghav’s taxi, kicking off a journey during which things go unexpectedly and spectacularly wrong ! This fast paced comic thriller goes against the grain,as their lives turn upside down in 24 hours. This tautly edited, roller –coaster journey of fun, thrills and suspense comes to a crescendo in a no holds barred climax. This volatile dramatic ride also reveals an unexpected tender emotional heart as their head – on collision impacts Jai’s girlfriend Rupali (Sameera Reddy) and Raghav’s wife Sunita (Sonali Kulkarni) As their lives unravel they are both forced to realize that they are actually not as different from each other as they imagined… with outstanding music by Vishal & Shekhar,” Taxi No 9211” captures both Mumbai’s glamour & unberbelly with panache , and is a must – watch for the cleverly written sardonic humor and great chemistry between the male leads. |

Good Lesson by the end |

Worth viewing this film. Ladies, once you get past our leading man's fineness, you will start to see the lesson. I was told by one of my best friends that this film (what a surprise :)- still gotta love Hindi films!) is based off of an American movie with Samuel L., I believe it is. Good job with Hindi version. I love to see men change for the better, and that is what happens by the end. Enjoy! |

Nana paired with John Abraham? I had my doubts, but this flick dispelled them. Nana as the ill-tempered, but lovable cabbie was simultaneously hilarious and intense, while John showed he could do character-acting beyond being a handsome face. Loved the sound-track, too. The two leads really worked well off each other. Lovable ending, too. |

Taxi No 9 2 11 is a pretty unique movie, considering that it attempts an off-beat story and pulls it off without a hitch – a phenomenon occurring more frequently nowadays, but not yet often enough. With this flick, John makes a crossover as he carries the movie on his shoulders, while Nana mellows into an actor who brings finer more nuances to his role than he ever has. Not a bad movie to enjoy this weekend. |

The script has some flaws, the casting is sort of ok Nana Patekar and Sonali Kulkarni being maharashtrians have played their characters with natural authenticity. John has improved but still long way to go. Songs and music is just average. Movie hardly leaves
any effect on you and soon will be 9-2-11 from your mind. |

I have always liked Milan Luhtarias movies. He did try his hand at romantic movies but his movies didn't fare well. I liked his kucche Dhagge and was fun and so I decided to watch Taxi 92 ll I. I think its a good movie. NAna as usual takes all the credit and as usual Nana Rocks. He is trying different roles which is good for him and also for the audiences. |
