Nice movie with well drawn characters 3 Star cnhollywood

This movie features a very young Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan. It explores the theme of finances and how much they affect the success of a marriage. It opens with a man who doesn't remember his past and who by gradually recollecting his memories, realizes who he is and what he must do. He remembers that he was a poor man, who married Rekha, a woman who had an early taste of fame (as a dancer before getting married). She was very bitter about their lowly standard of living . Enter the conniving best friend and the rest I will let you see for yourself. It is a morality play, so unfortunately the ending seems a bit unrealistic, but I still recommend it. 3 stars
