| Vanshika Mathur (Karisma Kapoor) is a middle-class girl, struggling to find a job to support herself and the widowed aunt she lives with (Aruna Irani). Abhay (Chandrachur Singh) is the playboy son of a millionaire (Alok Nath), whose irresponsible ways exasperate his father. The millionaire decides to try and mend his wayward son’s life and puts Abhay to work in his office. Vanshika gets a job in the same company and she meets Abhay and falls in love with him, but he only seems to be trifling with her affections. An unexpected twist in the tale is provided by the mysterious Jabbar Khagoshi (Danny Denzongpa). The film is directed by Shrabani Deodhar and has a melodious soundtrack from Jatin – Lalit, including the title song ‘Silsila Hai Pyar Ka.' |
