| The army captures dreaded mercenary Abrush (Danny Denzongpa). His gang retaliates by kidnapping a minister. Even as Abrush starts negotiations with Col. Hussain for a safe passage, the officer sends in his crack team of commandos, led by Major Jaidev Rajvansh (Anil Kapoor) to storm Abrush's hideout and rescue the minister. But a spy in the team informs Abrush’s gang and they kill almost all the commandos except Jaidev and his two members. A valiant Jaidev surges ahead and rescues the minister and succeeds to capture Abrush. Jaidev becomes a hero and receives a warm welcome back home. Anjali (Madhuri Dixit) who is in love with him since childhood comes to see him but he is not interested in her. He falls in love with Pooja Mallappa (Namrata Shirodkar). Humiliated by his rejection, Anjali retaliates by helping the mercenaries and Abrush escapes from jail. Watch out how Jaidev faces the test of the times! |
