Khel is the story of two close buddies Dev Mallya [Sunil Shetty] and Rohan Poddar [Ajay Jadeja].
Dev is a suave business tycoon who moves around in higher circles and rub shoulders with the crème de la crème of the society. A man with sharp business acumen, Dev has an ambition to be labeled among the topmost businessmen in the world. And he has an unrelenting passion to possess anything that he desires, come what may.
On the other hand, his friend Rohan is a simple guy who is happily living with whatever comes his way.
And along comes Rohan’s way a beautiful belle Saanjh Batra [Celina Jaitley], an interior designer. Saanjh and Rohan are attracted to each other and eventually fall in love.
Things take a turn for worse for Rohan when he is accused of a murder he did not commit and sentenced to life imprisonment. While Saanjh is shattered at Rohan’s imprisonment, Dev steps forward to share her grief and lend her moral support in the time of crisis. Slowly as time passes, Dev and Saanjh become good friends.
Enter into the picture A.C.P. Rajveer Scindia [Sunny Deol], who is newly commissioned to the city. Rajveer comes across Rohan's case and immediately senses something fishy. A righteous man at core, Rajveer holds the belief that an innocent victim of circumstances should never be punished.
Rajveer begins investigating into Rohan’s case and is startled to find some important fact that point that the plot to trap Rohan was carefully etched out by someone who is close to him. Who could it be? |
