| "Singer Rajat Varma Puri's killer!". The newpaper headlines screamed. Everyone seemed to be thinking, could the singer of such melodies, be the killer? The evidendce against him seemed to be overwhelming. The court was of the opinion that Rajat Varma treated sweet young women as his playthings. His wife Mukta, meanwhile denied that Rajat could be a killer. She admitted that rajat was involved at different times in his career with various women. But his involvements were not romantic.
