| This is the story of Asha (Asha Parekh), a rich, beautiful, strong-willed girl, completely spoilt by her doting father, rich owner of a tea plantation... ... pitted against Ashok (Joy Mukherjee), a budding author who suddenly finds himself installed as the manager of the tea plantation. Their every encounter is stormy, tempestuous and Asha, irked by the handsome young man with whom for once she can't have her own way, enlists the assistance of Majnu, a friendly elephant and her slave... ... and so begins an exciting adventure where sparks fly and love is ignited... Ziddi is a charming, sparkling film, full of exciting twists and turns.
