Character Sketch
Hrithik Roshan as Krishna / Krrish
A child of nature, he has God given powers and none can beat the force of his fist.
If as the mentally challenged Rohit Mehra of Koi.. Mil Gaya, he had you in tears, as the dashing and darling super hero Krrish, Hrithik will have you on the edge of your seats. And even as you're moved by his emotional vulnerability, you will cheer yourself hoarse for his dare devil actions.
Priyanka Chopra as Priya
Pretty and pert, she's your typical big girl, who encounters a young man whom she never met before. Even when she's using him for her own selfish ends, there's a part of her which reacts to his innocence and honesty.
Priyanka's inherent sweetness turns what could have been a grey role into a spirited portrayal of a confused girl, whose heart finally shows her the right way.
Naseeruddin Shah as Dr Siddhart Arya
He's a brilliant scientist with a vision that can change the course of history. Who will stop him to achieve his goal?
Only a versatile actor like Nasseeruddin Shah could have brought so much finesse to the edginess, the quirky humor and viciousness of Dr Arya.
Rekha as Sonia Mehra
Continuing from Koi… Mil Gaya, if there she cared for a mentally challenged son, here she spreads her protective wings around her super gifted grandson. Strong enough to take a controversial decision regarding his upbringing, she's weak enough to let him go when love beckons.
Only Rekha could have essayed this role with so much warmth and dignity.

A Bollywood Superhero |
Sotaria |

Billed by some as the first Bollywood Superhero movie, Krrish is an effective and fun blend of Masala and comic book action superhero. Priyanka Chopra may not have excited the critics, but the audience should love her. Hrithik returns in this sequel to Koi Mil Gaya as the son of the hero from Koi ... this time with inherited superhuman powers. |

Highly recommend to those who enjoyed the old school action heroes who were precious, lovable, and heartthrobs. Hrithik fits the mold in any role he plays, but especially in this movie. Other recommendations: Dhoom 2, K3G, Mission Kashmir, and Na Tum Jaano Na Hum. Enjoy! |

I’ve been watching Hindi films for over twenty years now. Of all the movies I have seen and as far as my memories can go back, I think this is one of the best made Hindi movies. It has beautiful songs, a power pack performance by Hrithik Roshan, and excellent special effects. Till this date this is Rakesh Roshan best directional. I would strongly recommend this movie to anyone. You wouldn’t regret watching it. |

Who was that Masked Man? |

Of course the flick is derivative, it's a rare Bollywood film which isn't. Yet I enjoyed it immensely. Even though I could count down the obvious influences--the Matrix,Blade Batman, the X-Men, Black Mask--Krrish seemed a more likeable superhero. Down to Earth, despite the costumed heroics. A neat mesh of Bollywood melodrama and Hong Kong martial arts mayhem. Wonder if this is the start of an exciting franchise? |
