He is the prophet who delivered the divine sermon, the Bhagwat Gita to Arjun, in the middle of the battlefield of Kurukshetra. Various incarnations. Each with purpose. To uphold, righteousness. Kans had Devaki and Vasudev imprisoned and killed seven of their children on their birth. The eighth was Krishana.
