After a long, long time I have seen a movie that touches the heart, has a brilliant theme and a fabulous climax. Who says fairy tales in real life don't happen? And being a fairy tale lover, I must add that this movie is one of my favorites, and one that I would like keep in my collection. Highly recommended!! |

This story is based on that social problem to whom a grownup child should be kept for rearing up after divorce between parents. Good performance by Ajay. |

The parent-child relationship has fascinated a number of filmmakers over the years. Harry Baweja's Main Aisa Hi Hoon borrows heavily from the talked about Hollywood film "I am Sam" which heavily strike the chord.
Ajay Devgan (Indraneel Thakur) plays a role a physically grown-up man with seven-year-old kid brain. He plays his has once again proved himself with his outstanding performance as one of the brightest actors of his generation. He handles his complex role quite well with complete understanding. Its time for Hritik Roshan, who acted in "Koi Mil Gaya", MUST learn and take inspiration from Ajay Devgan about performing a role.
Esha Deol (Maya Trivedi) is a poor little girl, of a rich family drowned in drugs craving for love & affection. She did her performance quite well and fit into her small role.
Sushmita Sen (Niki) is a famous successful lawyer always busy with her work to an extent that her husband left her. She performs her role with lots of confidence and makes a huge impact on the audience.
Baby Rucha Vaidya (Gungun) steals the heart of the audience. She gives a stellar performance. Her eyes speak for herself. Each & every emotion is displayed tactfully & naturally.
Anupam Kher (Dayanath Trivedi), father of Maya and a billionaire settles in London, acts as villain who comes with intention to bring back Gungun. He plays well and justifies his role.
The unpredictable climax of the movie is what makes this movie further appealing & impressive to the audience. "Main Aisa Hi Hoon" is all about acceptance - accepting people with abnormal behavior, since they also need and deserve love. Overall, the MUST watch family movie. |
