FAREB is not just a love triangle, revolving around a man torn between love [wife] and lust [the other woman], but also a murder mystery. And the women in this story go to extremes to get the man they desire.
Aditya [Manoj Bajpai] works as a creative director in an advertising agency. His wife Neha [Shilpa Shetty], a medical practitioner, is devoted to her husband and kid. Riya [Shamita Shetty] was married to a corporate honcho [Bakul Thakker], who happened to be a client of Aditya's ad-agency. Riya and Aditya meet at a presentation and she gets attracted to him. Riya is completely smitten by Aditya and tries to seduce him time and again. He spurns her initially, but succumbs to her charms eventually. This leads to a rift between Aditya and Neha. And then the unthinkable happens: Riya is murdered. The needle of suspicion points towards Aditya and being the prime suspect, the cops [Kelly Dorji, Hemant Pande] arrest him. Someone is also watching Aditya and blackmailing him for his affair with Riya. Who killed Riya? |

Another Love Triangle !!! |

The movie comes up with a combination of suspense, mystery and sex. The story revolves around Manoj Bajpai, who is torn between love (his wife - Shilpa Shetty) and lust (his girl friend - Shamita Shetty).
Manoj Bajpai proves his talent by having exceptional & brilliant performance. He managed to perform his role quite well, which would be difficult for many other talented actors in Bollywood.
Shilpa Shetty after "Phir Milenge" has given another better performance. She looks ravishing and acts brilliantly in the role of a loving housewife.
Shamita Shetty, younger sister of Shilpa Shetty performs role of villainous and seductress actress, striking a resemblance with her recent movie "Zeher". With her sensuous and sexy looks, she handled her role above average. Kelly Dorji, the latest boy friend of Lara Dutta, needs to join some acting school before signing up another film.
The story is predictable and the climax is somewhat disappointing it fails to leave an impact on the audience. The killer’s identity and the motive doesn't seems that convincing even though the director has tried real-hard. Cinematography and dialogues are average.
The other unique thing in the film is that two biological sisters, Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty, has team up in the love triangle with the same dashing personality Manoj Bajpai.
Overall, you can watch this movie once provided you have nothing better to do. |
