Lucky (Anil Kapoor) had had enough of change. From orphanages to juvenile delinquent homes! From odd jobs to petty crimes! From home addresses to jail addresses! He wanted his innocence back. A plot of land in Bangalore… a family... a dog… a new beginning. One last con-job, girlfriend in tow, sunset in background, and he would be well on his way. Twenty-four hours later, he’s been betrayed by his girlfriend, hunted by a drug lord, orphaned by the death of his three partners and sent to Goa to do a drug deal to buy his life back. Musafir jack-knifes into the hedonism of Goa raves, flea markets, hippies and wanderlust. Lucky pulls of a drug deal with the deadly Israelis, chases a femme fatale with a ubiquitous past (Sameera Reddy), manages to lose the drug lord (Sanjay Dutt) money yet again, is hounded by a corrupt cop (Aditya Pancholi) with a secret agenda, and gets offered the same amount by a perverted husband (Mahesh Manjrekar) who offers him a contract killing. Under siege and racing the clock, a deadly battle of wits ensues in a climax filled with spiraling tension and volatile action. MUSAFIR lives into the dark side of human nature. Its protagonist is pushed to the edge of his morality. He meets desperate characters, skinned to the bone by their vulgar wants. |

The movie "Musafir" definitely has something new to offer. Sanjay Gupta has delivered exactly what he had stated from the beginning - a truly 'unique' film.
The film centers on Lucky (Anil Kapoor), a young man who has had a very bad childhood. As a kid, he was a delinquent and is desperately looking out for a way to 'get back' his innocence. That is when he decides to commit one last crime before he settles down in life with girlfriend Tara (Koena Mitra), a bar dancer. The final job requires him to cheat a man belonging to Billa's (Sanjay Dutt) gang. Lucky does the job well, only to be ditched by Tara, escapes with the loot!
Billa is a brutal killer dealing with drugs and narcotics. Now Billa wants revenge and he kills four other people from Lucky's team. When Billa gets hold of Lucky, Lucky puts forward a proposal. He says that he could be of some assistance to Billa. Thus, Billa lets him go on an assignment to Goa. But unfortunately, Lucky messes it yet again while in relentless pursuit of the sensuous Sam (Sameera Reddy) who is married to Looka (Mahesh Manjrekar).
Billa reaches Goa. In the meantime, Looka hires Lucky to kill his wife and Sam also gives Lucky an offer to take away Looka's money and run away and in return give Sam her freedom.
The most interesting part of the film is that the narrative is very unpredictable. You don't know what to expect and you end up being caught totally unaware. Musafir sure has the potential to become a hit as it has almost everything that the audience is looking for - action, romance and plenty of skin shows. Talking about skin show, the movie has babes 'running around' in short bikinis, a lot of kissing scenes and bed room lines. Surely, it's not something that you would like to take your family to watch. |

It was'nt bad but It was'nt also that good. Most part of this movie had a moment. Like stylish picturistion, stylish Excuation. But honestly comparing to the movie Kaante was better than Musafir. Musafir had a week storyline and slow pace. Love Sanjay Dutt though. His dialogue was superb. |
