| This is a very poignant love story that is reminiscent of the American movie, Pretty Woman, in which a rich and successful man falls in love with a lady of the night. Perhaps I am partial, but Kareena's performance was par excellance. This viewer would like to see more of Rahul Bose whose performance was also an excellent one. I loved the way Indian film makers imply sex in their films so that the film is not offensive or vulgar. Chemeli is a prostitute, but one never sees graphic sex scenes. We're adults, after all, we know what prostitutes do. We do not have to see it. See it. You will not be disappointed. And don't forget your Kleenex... |
