Farida Jalal and Kader Khan are on the lookout for a daughter-in-law. Himani Shivpuri tells them about a girl who she thinks will fit the bill - Sapna played by Karishma Kapoor who lives with her three maternal uncles. Out of the three - Paresh Rawal is religion conscious, Om Puri is weight conscious, and to top it all Anupam Kher is fashion conscious. Since, Karishma is bored of staying with her uncles, she seeks a change.
She plans a trip where she meets Raja played by Salman Khan. Salman is sent by his parents to woo and marry Karishma. He tries all the tricks to lure her - waits for her when she misses the bus, fights the bad guys when she takes a lift, and more till she falls in love with him. It's time to return from the trip. But Karishma tells Salman to convince the uncles to agree to their wedding. How Salman gets their approval is what you have got to see the film for! |
