Aman Khan (Danny Denzongpa) is a respected businessman who has a lovely daughter, Shaheen (Akanksha). Aman Khan’s business manager, Bashir Khan (Parikshit Sahni) has a son, Chand (Rahul Bhat) who is crazy about cricket. The youngsters fall in love and Chand is thrilled when his team is chosen to play a prestigious match in Mumbai. Chand’s evil cousin, Shaukat (Mohnish Behl) is hand-in-glove with some terrorists and he plans to create an international incident. Shaukat plants a bomb amongst Chand’s cricket gear and tips off the police at the airport. Chand is arrested on arrival and when the bomb goes off, his friends are killed. Shaheen is devastated and resigns herself to a life without love. Her father persuades her to marry someone else to help him in a business deal. On her wedding day, she gets a phone call informing her that Chand is alive ...
This romantic thriller, shot in Uzbekistan, features a couple of debutants – Akanksha is the grand-daughter of the legendary beauty Bina Rai while Rahul Bhatt is a familiar face on Indian television. |
