| Belongs to Orthodox Lower Middle-Class Muslim Family, Arefa is 23-year girl dealing with her inner and outer conflicts during her young age as she is been indirectly pressured to get married. Arefa being an introvert and low confident doesn't have an idea of what to expect from her life. Her monotonous life is take a U-turn when she bumped into a stranger guy at the bus stand. From the moment when a stranger guy asks her to take care of herself, she begins to see things changing positively around her. She finds courage when she thought she got a positive reply from that boy but she is unaware of the plan by destiny. Hesitation and pressure remain the same at home after work. Every day she was being told to behave and be as it is asked by her parents. She was often denied if there is a picnic arranged from the office or she has the requirements of purchasing something for herself. But on the other side, her brother is given all the love in the world by her parents. She suffocates in her inner self. She released her chained emotions with the help of the diary she is maintaining every day. But many nights she ends up writing the same things in the diary. She forced more when one day she had arranged to see a boy for marriage and after he saw Arefa, the boy refused to meet or greet her in Private. This incident rages more frustration of her family towards her. She also shooked up by feeling that she is not even worthy for someone to have a private talk in arranging a meeting for her marriage. ? One day when she was least expecting love or attention from anywhere she was helped by a boy at a bus stand with whom she accidentally bumped in. The guy used to get a different bus from the same bus stand so it was very possible for girls to see him every day. The first time she felt was treated as if she were a matter in her little world. She begin to have fantasies where this same boy took more care of her or treated her correctly. Now, every day she waits at the bus stand for this boy to come and she can share a little smile with him. In spite of this just a casual smile she get from him from far at the bus stand, she started to stay happy throughout the day. Her confidence was started to boost. She is now poured with the interest of having someone and begin to wish to approach and win him. Her interest is now making her social as she asked Nisha her colleague and searched the internet about how a guy can be approached. Now in her house, she begins to long for some freedom. One day She silently sneak out of her house and visit the bus stand where she met her crush for the first time. That was the first time she felt like she tasted the freedom of life. ? Next day she has decided to propose to this guy. She was nervously waiting for him at the bus stop. He came a little late that day. After practising in her mind she finally made an effort to approach her. Guy welcomes her very gently. She asked a guy to be the love of her life and suddenly his bus arrived and he get on it y replying yes'. Arefa felt the seven sky under her feet. She didn't go to the office that day and was roaming the city with constant smiles upon her face and fantasies on her head. But little did she knows that destiny plays her differently here. The guy who gets on the bus is talking with another girl who is asking the same things as Arefa and the reply that he has given was to a girl on the phone but not Arefa. ? After one fine day with a happy self. Arefa returns home in the evening and found that her parents has arranged a less educated, uglier looking boy who is not doing some dignified job. She felt very insulated and now she refuses to see this boy. She raised her voice for the first time to her parents but was shut down later by them. The water of frustration has reached up to her head. She decided to leave this house forever. She thought as she is finally accepted by someone she should dare to live the life she imagined all the time. Hence, Early morning she left the home and reached the bus stop. Her wings of freedom have spread away and she is awaiting to take the flight of her LIFE. |
