It was a perfect romance when Aakash (John Abraham) met Maya (Tara Sharma) very soon they get married and sink into the marital bliss. Life is a pleasant dream for the couple but this dream turns into a nightmare when Aakash looses Maya forever in a mishap. Bereft Aakash is unable to let go of his loss and come to terms with life. Days pass but nothing helps Aakash, as he finds that it is just impossible to live without Maya who was his love... his life.
Then suddenly Aakash experiences a strange phenomena as he can hear Maya talking to him. Confused by this he tries to explain this to Maya's parents but they refuse to believe him. They suggest him to seek medical advice as they think that because of his emotional upheaval he might turn insane. Before Aakash could understand and figure things something happens and...
Saaya deals with the interesting subject of life after death to which modern science still could not find an explanation. Saaya is pretty Tara's second movie after her petty debut in Anupam Kher's Om Jai Jagdish that failed to soar at the box-office. One will also see Mahima Chowdhary comforting John in the movie as she plays the role of a family friend. Like Jism, Saaya too promises some hot scenes to heat the blood in the veins. We can only wish that Saaya work wonders for the careers of Tara Sharma and John Abraham and for its director. Thrillers are the latest vogue in Bollywood and the experience continues with Saaya. |

Remake or not, it is good |

This is a scene for scene remake of Dragonfly, and yet for some odd reason I cannot put my finger on I actually prefer this one over the original. Perhaps it is the music or the tone which lifts this above and beyond the Hollywood film, but be aware that it is almost a scene for scene remake. |
