| A millionaire businessman (Shreeram Lagoo) neglects his only child, but constantly fears that the boy will be kidnapped. Into this child?s lonely life comes a teacher, Shalu (Hema Malini), who feels that a boarding school is the best place for the boy. Here he finds new friends and is just settling down when an ex-jailbird, Sunil (Shashi Kapoor) is assigned to kidnap him. Sunil, disguised as a music teacher, takes up a job in the boarding school, but is foxed to discover that another crook, Vijay (Amitabh Bachchan) has the same idea! A series of comic encounters takes place, ending up with the two crooks being reformed by the two women who love them ? Shalu falls in love with Sunil, while Vijay falls in love with the principal?s daughter, Anju (Parveen Babi). This zany, star-studded comedy is directed by Rakesh Kumar and has music composed by Rajesh Roshan. |
