Shot entirely in Russia and set against the romantic and majestic backdrop of St. Petersberg, Lucky is a tale of love that brings together two people who would never have met and fate not intervened. Lucky (Sneha Ullal) is the quintessential dreamer but she lives in turbulent times. On her way to school one day she is caught up amidst a sudden and unexpected wave of insurgency and in her attempt to escape the rebels she is thrown into contact with fellow countryman Aditya Sekhri (Salman Khan). So begins a journey, fraught with danger, by two people with nothing in common except the desire to get home safely. As they travel through everything from ambushes to icy wilderness, they discover both the limits of their endurance and that love works in mysterious ways. |

It's Lucky the Film Worked |

Really 3 1/2 stars thanks to a good, if flawed script, and Sneha. The problem with the film was that at times it fell dangerously close to a love story between a 16 year old and a 43 year old. If you can get past a 16 year old's crush, the film really works well, as Salman tries to lead a young school girl across the frozen snow of Russia to escape terrorism. There were times the script was a little off, and some parts seemed not to work, but it was overall a very pleasant surprise and Sneha did a great job as a quiet shy school girl feeling lost in the snow. Definitely worth a look. |

The movie was okay. The girl plays a role as "Lucky" looks beautiful and innocent, little bit looks familiar with Aishwarya Rai Well, Salman looks cool but no more imressing dialouges or acting. His work in the movie was okay. Two-three songs are good. Rest is cool. |

Debutant Sneha Ullal as an eighteen-year-old schoolgirl could not do much with her acting. She has a photogenic face but has a lot to learn. Salman is just ok and could not impress much with his acting.
Music, dialogs along with storyline and direction are very weak.
All in all, ‘Lucky – No Time For Love’ is worth a watch for those people who wished to see Salman and Ash together on the big screen again. If not the real thing, her look-alike will do! |

A fresh and unique film by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru and they were great as a directorial debut. The screenplay was very well written. Most of the scenes of this movie are enjoyable, memorable, and made sense. The characters looks real, natural and amazing. The cinematography of Russia is definitely winning an award because they capture Russia so beautiful. Adnan Sami has really amazed with his work. The film action was great and does fit with the flow of the film.
Salman Khan, as Aditya Sekhri a marvelous, charming, handsome and a funny man, who is the son of an Indian Ambassador in Russia. He has put in a lot of effort into his performance and impresses the audience with his looks and dialogues.
Sneha Ullal, as Lucky Negi, is adorable, gentle and an innocent teenage girl, who has amazed the audience with her extremely well performance. She has looks of Aishwarya, but no offense, she can prove a better actress than Aishwarya. There are so many scenes that she did, some of which are quite difficult for a newcomer actress to do.
Mithun Chakraborty has acted fine and quite surprisingly never annoyed the audience this time. Kader Khan was having a small and emotional role.
If you are looking for a great sensitive, amazing & romantic movie, then this movie is for you - a MUST watch. |
